
MOOVAMONEY is a wallet service that allows customers, including those who do not have an Edgars, CNA or Jet/JetMart store account, to:
- Deposit and withdraw money instantly at any participating Edgars, Edgars Connect, CNA or Jet/JetMart store in South Africa only, using a South African cellphone number.
- Send MoovaMoney to any South African cellphone number.
- Spend MoovaMoney on airtime, data, electricity or even merchandise.


In order to access the MoovaMoney, you need to:
- Have a valid South African cellphone number.
- Register via USSD from a valid South African cellphone number.
- Be a South African citizen.
- Be 18 years and older of age.
- Perform a USSD-based GN6 FICA process from a valid South African cellphone number first, using your RSA ID number, and confirming your first name, surname and date of birth.

Do I need to have a minimum balance in my MoovaMoney wallet?
No. Your MoovaMoney wallet can contain any amount between R0 and R20 000 at a given point.
Are there any service charges to maintain my MoovaMoney wallet?
No. MoovaMoney only charges for the transactions you perform.
How do I keep my MoovaMoney wallet secure?
• Keep your log-in PIN secret
• Memorise your PIN and do not carry it with your phone
• Never give away your PIN
• If you have reason to believe your PIN has been compromised, you can change the PIN by phoning the Support Centre on 087 551 1022.
What do I do if I forget my MoovaMoney PIN?
Phone the Support Centre on 087 551 1022.
What happens if my phone/SIM is lost or stolen?
Your money is safe. Your wallet is protected by your PIN. You should call the Support Centre to block your wallet by first authenticating yourself. Thereafter you need to do a SIM swap and unblock your wallet by calling the Support Centre on 087 551 1022.
Can money be sent to any mobile phone?
Yes.
How will the receiver know if they have received funds in their MoovaMoney wallet?
Receivers will get an SMS message from their mobile service provider.
Can I send funds out of South Africa?
At this point, no.
If there’s a problem with a transaction, who should the sender contact?
The Support Centre on 087 551 1022.
What if, as a sender, I don’t give you the correct mobile number of the receiver?
If you have used the Send MoovaMoney function successfully, the funds will be transferred to the recipient’s wallet.
