In the unfortunate event of you passing away, your family will receive a payout of up to R20 000 to cover burial expenses, upon a valid claim.
We also pay out a R5000 contribution towards erecting a tombstone at no extra cost after 12 months.

- For continued cover, please ensure that your personal funeral plan premium is paid in full on a monthly basis.
- To qualify for cover you must be South African citizen.
- Claims are paid out within 48 hours of receipt of required documents
- Please note that your premiums will increase by 6% and your cover will increase by 5% annually.
Waiting periods:
- A six-months waiting period applies for death due to natural causes.
- No waiting period applies for accidental death, once you have paid your 1st premium.
- A 12 months waiting period applies for death due to suicide.
Premiums for your funeral plan can be collected via payment on your retail account or debit order
