Our Parent Funeral Plan covers up to four parents, giving you the confidence to enjoy life without worrying about immediate access to funds should there be a need to cover their burial expenses

- You can cover your parent/s before their 75th birthday.
- For continued cover, please ensure that your Parent Funeral Plan premium is paid in full on a monthly basis.
- To qualify for cover your parent/s must be South African citizens.
- Claims are paid out within 48 hours of receipt of required documents
- Please note that your premium will increase by 6% and your cover will increase by 5% annually.
Waiting periods:
- A six-months waiting period applies for death due to natural causes.
- No waiting period applies for accidental death, once you have paid your 1st premium.
- A 12 months waiting period applies for death due to suicide.
Premiums for your funeral can be collected via payment on your Edgars account or debit order
