Avène XeraCalm A.D Lipid-Replenishing Balm is a lipid-replenishing balm for severe dryness and skin prone to eczema.
The formula of XeraCalm A.D Lipid-Replenishing Balm was created using a minimum of ingredients:
- The I-Modulia complex, result of 12 years of scientific development, reduces itching sensations caused by skin dryness and soothes redness and irritation caused by the skin's hyper-reactivity.
- Cer-Omega, lipids which resemble those found in the skin, helps to repair, nourish and strengthen the protective film, giving the skin better resistance against external aggressions.
- Avène Thermal Spring Water, with soothing properties, reduces sensations of discomfort and softens the skin.

This formula benefits from the unique ‘Sterile Cosmetics’ process that eliminates the need for preservatives (including hidden preservatives like alcohol). The formula is protected against bacterial contamination thanks to the patented D.E.F.I packaging.
