A TRIBUTE TO ONE OF THE FIRST BOUTIQUES, UNVEILED BY A LEATHERY AND AMBER FRAGRANCE BASED ON LABDANUM.
In 1979, the historic boutique at 6 Place Saint Sulpice was the gathering place for Yves Saint Laurent's most ardent admirers. All the charm and character of this iconic address are distilled in the wake of its fragrance, a dialogue between the richness of smooth leather and the animal sensuality of labdanum. Halfway between avant-garde sensibility and the desire for eternity, 6 Place Saint Sulpice embodies the House's constant creativity.
To recreate the refined atmosphere of 6 PLACE SAINT SULPICE, Master Perfumer Carlos Benaïm chose a warm, amber labdanum. Evoking the hue of the signature YSL Cassandre adorning the boutique's facade, the warm, golden resin of Mediterranean rockrose exudes a sweet, woody fragrance, underscored with notes of honey and a delicate touch of leather.
Enhancing the lush balsamic substance, a luminous aromatic accord of lavender gives the fragrance the streamlined silhouette of Yves Saint Laurent creations. A cocktail of spices, led by the leathery and earthy nuances of luxurious saffron, adds texture to this sophisticated composition.
