The perfumer used Ylang Ylang and Bergamot to recreate the sunny effect of the beach by summer; and he chose Coconut Milk and Musks to evoke sun-kissed skin.

FRAGRANCE NOTES:

• BERGAMOT
  The scent of Bergamot is citrusy, fresh and pleasantly floral. It gives a mixed sensation of light and fresh summer breeze passing through Beach Walk. Together with the Ylang Ylang they evoke Summer at the beach, mixing the warmth of the sun and the freshness of the sea breeze.
  
  
• YLANG YLANG
  Ylang Ylang offers exotic floral inflections, combining a radiant power with suave and rich inflections. This ingredient originally comes from the Indian Ocean territories. Its essence brings an enveloping floral warmth that is an invitation to travel to sunny places and easily evokes the beach during Summertime.
  
  
• COCONUT MILK ACCORD
  The Coconut Milk accoord is creamy, smooth and sweet while offering an exotic sunny facet. It easily evokes the scent of monoi, used in sunscreens, and is a major ingredient of Beach Walk to recreate the atmosphere of a sandy beach in Summer. Coconut milk is obtained by headspace technology then recreated by the perfumer using her raw material palette.

HOW TO USE:

• The first time you light a scented candle, let it burn for at least one hour until all the wax on the surface has melted. It will help the candle melt uniformly during all the duration of use.
• Light up a candle when you plan to spend quite a long time in the room as its scent will be fully released after 30 to 60 minutes. Best is to leave the candle burn for 3 or 4 hours at a time.
  
• Smother the flame using a candle snuffer and avoid blowing out the flame.
  
• Trim the wick between each usage to obtain a length of 3 to 5 mm. Reposition the wicks after blowing out the candle.
  
• Never place a lit candle in a draught or on a glass, wooden or marble surface.

CANDLE EXPERTISE

• Our scented candles are created and manufactured in the South of France by an expert candle manufacturer.
• The manufacturing process of each candle takes 7 hours and is semi-manual. The manufacturing staff performs a visual check of each candle just before the wax has completely cooled down, to make sure there is no bubble or no lack of wax near the wick.
• The manufacturing staff also straighten up the wick manually. It is a very delicate action that requires high dexterity, as the wax is almost solidified but still very hot. Then we let the candle finish to solidify and cool down.
• The Replica scented candles also convey our olfactory expertise. The objective was to recreate the olfactory signature of each Eau de Toilette. Each candle scent was created by the same renowned perfumers as the Eau de Toilette. We put very high concentrations of perfume concentrate (10 to 12%) in our scented candles. Almost the same concentration as for an Eau de Toilette.
