The woody and luscious fragrance, reminiscent of Victoire’s warm skin, imbued with a delicate vanillic facet, reinvents the sensual depth of the original Eau de Parfum through the unique emboisement process.

Meticulously selected for their moderately vanilla-like aromatic profile in the traditional cooperages with a long history in the spirits (cognac, whisky, rum) and wine industries, French oakwood shavings macerate for in MUSE’s signature ink accord. One week is the tipping point when the amber warmth of the wood enriches the macerated accord without overwhelming it.

The top notes of the fragrance open with spicy incense, softened by an aromatic lavender accord from the Ourika Community Gardens. In this Moroccan terroir, the plants endure an extreme climate – from scorching summer heat to the biting cold of winter – forcing them to yield ingredients of unparalleled intensity. As the fragrance deepens, the powdery nobility of skin-soft iris pallida butter embraces musky ambrette. Finally, the base notes unveil the Ink accord with its smoky, liqueurish warmth, lavishly dosed with a trio of sensual Bourbon vanilla extracts, and entwined with the ambery smoky tones of an oud accord.
