We may be temporarily closing our doors, but you can still shop with us online. Take care of yourself, your loved ones and your community, and we look forward to welcoming you back into our stores when the time is right.

We kept our stores open for as long as possible because we know how important a role they play to you, our customers, and local communities. Our President announced a lockdown effective midnight the 26th of March. This is due to the growing number of infections in the country, and the urgent need to now contain the spread of COVID-19. We support this lockdown and believe that this is necessary to “flatten the curve”, as we have learnt from countries that have been successful in containing the spread of the virus. Edgars will therefore be closed during this lock down period.
For now, our stores will be closed during the lock down period from midnight Thursday 26th March until the lockdown ends.
Yes, all in-store events have unfortunately been cancelled. We look forward to rescheduling as soon as we can.

ONLINE SHOPPING AND SERVICES
Yes, you can still order online at www.edgars.co.za, but will only receive your order when the lockdown ends
Our warehouse staff and delivery couriers are fully informed of the precautionary safety measures in place to avoid the spread of COVID-19 including:
• Emphasising frequent and proper hand washing
• Cleaning high contact points more frequently
• No physical contact at delivery
Unfortunately this service is not available over this period.
Contact has been attempted with all customers who have not collected their orders - if you are unable to collect your parcel before our stores close on Thursday 26 March, you will be refunded or can collect your order when Edgars stores reopen.
Due to pressure on online shopping, online delivery is taking longer than expected – our Call Centre will be in touch to confirm delivery lead times.
