Feel at home with the terms of your benefits:

  • Certain amounts are payable by you as the Club member. These include:
    • Costs not channelled through 0800 00 47 47;
    • Any outstanding amount exceeding the R500 covered. You would pay this directly to the service provider;
    • The account, including call out fee and labour costs; if assistance is rendered for non-emergency repairs;
    • More than two keys are cut by the locksmith on a call out.

  • The benefit is not a cumulative amount and is limited to a maximum amount of R500 per incident.

  • The annual period is one calendar year starting 1 January and ending 31 December.

  • A repair incident is considered per service category. This means that if an electrician is called out for emergency repairs to both the distribution board and electrical connection with one call-out, this will be seen as one repair incident.

  • Emergency repair refers to:
    • A repair necessitated within 2 hours of the call for assistance and involves a situation whereby you may suffer consequential damages if the repair is not affected immediately;
    • Domestic appliances requiring immediate emergency repairs. Please see above for appliances included and remember that stoves are only included if the complete function is lost - if one or more plates are working, it is not deemed an emergency repair;
    • A member is left stranded without any alternative to essential services such as electricity, hot water or sanitary use. This cover and does not extend to ordinary maintenance (wear and tear) or replacements.

  • The service guarantee varies from one service provider to another and will be stated on the service provider's invoice.

  • If the item/appliance to be repaired is still under warranty, it will be referred to the manufacturer for repairs.
