At Edgars Club we ensure that our Members are covered when they need it most.
- In the event of your death, your Classic or Premium Membership entitles you to R3000 funeral cover for your next of kin.
- On the event of your legal spouse's or life partner's death, you receive R1500.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
To qualify for this benefit you have to subscribe to the Classic or Premium Membership option.
How to Claim
The deceased's next of kin needs to produce the following certified documentation at their nearest Edgars or Jet store:
- Death certificate.
- ID document
- ID document of the deceased
- A sworn affidavit stating claimant's kinship to the deceased. If the next of kin's surname differs, additional documents as proof of relationship are required.
- Legal spouse must produce a marriage certificate
- Non-direct family must have a letter of appointment from the court in order to claim. (Original or else a certified copy)
